About Me

My name is Jacquiline Omuoma . I am a single lady aged 36 years old. I was born in Nairobi but brought up in Eldoret .
I went to school up to form four and then did a course in catering. I tried my hand in different jobs here in Eldoret. I was first employed by a lady in a canteen and I later worked for someone in an mpesa shop.
The main challenge was that these people were not paying me my due and that is why I decided to venture into my own business.

My Business

I started my business in 2008. I am running my own small kiosk where I deal with foodstuff. I buy different food stuffs and sell to customers. My kiosk is at Kenya Pipeline in Eldoret. Here I serve mainly truck drivers and their conductors.
This business has helped me as I pay my rent and do all that I can from the proceeds. If granted the loan, I will be able to increase my stock. My stock increased to about kshs. 10,000 and the profit increased to kshs. 6,000. from what it used to be of Kshs. 4,000. The whole amount will be used to stock my kiosk with sodas, mineral water, and other food stuff.

I sell ready food to my customers. I sell sodas. snacks tea and other eatables that my customers as they wait to load their trucks. I serve people who come from all parts of East Africa and if I can increase my stock then it will not only benefit my customers but will also boost my income

From my proceeds, I am able to pay my rent and feed myself and also assist my parents who are now also aging.

If I am funded, I will pay my tithe of 10% ,re-invest at least 50%, Use 10% to pay my rent and use the other 30 to service the loan and also assist my parents.

I am happy to know that Zidisha is their to assist people like me who cannot meet the conditions for banks to give loans.

Thanks for funding me in advance. I will make sure that I service my loan in good time, as I also assist others to join and enjoy the benefits of being Zidisha members.

Loan Proposal

If funded I will use the money to buy food stuff of all kind. Cereals for preparing several kinds of dishes at US$50 and sodas, mineral water and others drinks at a cost of US$50.

This will increase my sales and also enable my customers to get almost evreything they might need from Kiosk without having to walk from lace to place.

I expect my profit to increase by at least kshs. 200 per day that is bringing the total amount to Kshs. 4,000 which equivalent to US$40 per month.
