About Me

I am a young lady who has a passion for the agricultural sector. I have managed to do farming on a small-scale basis but I would like to expand and do large-scale farming on a commercial basis.

I have been able to attain 2 degrees in University: a degree in Business Administration & Management and a degree in Credit Management.

In my free time, I like to do research on how to improve myself and be more efficient and effective in my work.

My Business

This is a farming project on a large-scale basis that I want to begin. I am already undertaking small-scale farming of growing vegetables which earns a small income. Through large-scale farming, I would be able to plant fruits and vegetables and also engage in tree farming. There is already 27 acres of uncultivated land ready for use. I already have ready an agronomist to take care of the crops, and a ready market for the sale of the produce.

Typical costs are usually: wages, capital for the seedlings, tools and equipment, transport. Revenue will include: profit earned from the fruits and vegetables; some mature on a monthly basis, others after 3 months, others after 6 months.
The profits earned will be reinvested back in the business for its growth.

Loan Proposal

I will buy seedlings needed for my capsicum farming,

This will be sold when matures and will earn a profit.

For returns:
18 X15m Piece of land of straw berry can produce 17 – 27 Kg of fruits per week
1 Kg of straw berry sells at Ksh. 150 -200
In one month, 17 X 150 X 4 = 10,200
In one season (Four months) 10,200 X 4 = 40,800
In one year (2 Seasons), 40,800 X 4 X 2 = 81,600
