About Me

I was born at Nyamusi division, in Nyamira county in the year 1991. I am the first born in a family of eight(8) children.Life was not easy in our family, since my father had no job neither my mother.I schooled in a very difficult environment.I had to do all the house chores since i was the first born. From washing clothes of my parents to my juniors was all up to me.I did not pass well due to work load i had in the family and poverty situation that succumbed our family. When I reached form 2 I dropped out of high school due to poverty and lack of fees made me to decide to get married. Before I got married, I used to do small scale gardening at our farm like rearing chicken, growing all types of vegetables, selling of fruits and vegetables at Magwagwa, Nyamusi and Miruka market all in nyamira County. So starting up this business as mentioned earlier on I used to rear chicken as my hobby, when I was young. Thus I look forward of rearing my own chicken in my own farm/plot and selling/supplying my own chicken in the future. That is my vision. Now I am married with two kids a boy and a girl while expecting another come next year.I would like to struggle that my kids can get the best Education ever. I want them to do law, engineering, medicine, theology, political science, procurement etc. So that they can change the world of poverty. My hobby I like visiting the sick, prisoners, providing for the needy and helping to offer free guidance and counseling to young couples as a way of giving back to the community.

My Business

I Started selling chicken eggs from one household to another within my locality since i did not have enough capital to open a stall shop. The eggs are in demand since they are cheaper and low income earners who can't afford to buy meat,or milk which is very expensive at times will afford to buy. Also i sell the eggs to the high income earners on demand of more than one tray at a good price in return.Eggs are cheaper source of proteins.I choose these type of business since they give me humble time managing my family as the buyers come to buy from my rented house and on the other hand there is availability of quick market .One tray I purchase it at $2 and sell it at $3 ,thus making realizing a profit of $ 1 per tray.I ten trays which I sell them all by the next day.realizing a profit of $10.The profits I get from selling the eggs ,I use them to reinvestment in growing the business and home improvement.

Loan Proposal

Purchase more plastic trays for package, 10 trays @ at $1*10=$10. Purchase eggs with $60and the remaining $80 will pay rent and licence for the Stall where I will be selling my eggs from. After selling all the eggs I will be making a profit of $1 per tray
