I am someone who doesn't joke with education so during my childhood days, i did assisted my mother in selling tomatoes and other vegetables at the market. I did this to enable my parents gather enough money to cater for my education. I also developed the attitude of saving money to buy things for myself without bothering my parents.
Due to my hard work, i became a class prefect in my primary school stage 6 to Junior Secondary form 2 and also became the school prefect when i got to form 3. With this leadership position, i came out successful in my education career and got a work doing as a Safety Officer.
My community is a new site being developed and there are a whole lot of issues when it comes in terms of potable drinking water. I decided to involve the sachet water company to supply me with sachet water were i sell in singles and in full bag to make water available to all those who needed it.
I have two (2) children now, a daughter by name Roselove and she is now 9 years old who is very lovely, intelligent and loves flowers a lot. She said she want to be a nurse in feature so as to cater for the sick in the community. A son who is call Isaac and a year old.
As my hobby, i delight in the following; reading, swimming, playing volley, advising and travelling.
My business is selling of sachet water. Sachet water is a purified water bagged in a polythene rubber of 500ml per sachet and 30pieces per bag. This type of water is what Ghanaians drink every now and then whether young or old, rich or poor, male or female, etc. As we all know, water is life and we need it in our daily lives.
My community is a new developing area were water is an issue, so i took this problem and negotiated with one of the pure water sachet company (Standard Water) to supply me with their product so as to assist the community. The Company gives me their product and after selling it, i make my profit and pay them back were another consignment is given to me.
I make sure the profit is saved and gradually adding up will enable me expand the business. The price of a bag is almost $1 and i do make $1 profit when i sell them in singles but lesser profit when i sell the whole bag. I have been able to buy a freezer to chill the water for consumers in and around my place. Now due to the demands and growing of my business, as in regards to people coming to buy in large quantity (wholesale) and re-selling (retail) to their communities. I receive 200 bags ($150) weekly and 800 bags ($600) monthly of purified water supply from my suppliers to meet the demands of my customers. I'm able to generate a profit of $40 a week when i sell the 200 bags in bags.
I re-invest some of the profit into the business and use some to cater for the family and assist the needy in the society and also pay my taxes as well.
Growing, serving the community and continuing in business is my priority.
I will use the loan to buy 800 to 1,000 bags of treated purified water and at the end of the day, will make a profit of $160 to $200 after paying my loan. I will re-invest some of the profit into the business and pay the school fees of my daughter who is in stage 3 now. She is soo brilliant that i have push her throughout her education.
The profit will help me in such that my business will continue growing gradually whiles my daughter's education will also improve at the long run.
