About Me

My name is Diana Anamkulya . Iam 36 years
i live in Bolgatanga in the upper East Region .
the northern part of Ghana where our main work is farming and weaving basket.
I have started a private school in our local church building on 2nd September 2014.
I have Nursery , Kindergarten(K.G) and Class One(P1).
The school is one year now and i need money to buy tables and chairs, Learning materials, children recreational centre eg. merry go round etc.
Land to build the school and move out from the local church building
I also have 10 needy children that school for free. and when get help will increase this number to help the needy children in my society. It's also my passion.
70% of the children are sitting on the floor to learn.
I really need help from Zidisha to grow and

My Business

It is a private school called JODAN ACADEMY at Bolgatanga.
I have Nursery one(1), Nursery two(2) Kindergarten one and two (K.G.1&2)
Class one (p1 and p3).
We depend on the little tuition fees that we collect from the parents. But the fees is too small because of where the school is located and the children too are not yet many.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to buy tables and chairs, and learning materials for my school
It will help those who are currently sitting on mats and on the floor to get tables and chairs to sit.
It will also enhance teaching and learning. students will feel comfortable.
It will increase the enrollment of the school so that i can cater for the other needy children in the community that school for free in my school.
profit will increase to 50% to 80% and above.

Its ok Diana :-) Life can be difficult sometimes... We're still here with our support if you need it :-)

Don't increase your repayments more than you can afford though hun... It might be best to keep them at a manageable level & just pay as far in advance as you can... Zidisha tends to prefer payments to be regular, even if they're small, rather than have them missed.

So don't stress yourself too much :-) Just adjust them to an amount you can afford... Keeping them regular helps for any future loans you may want :-)

Again, thanks for the communication Diana... It really is appreciated :-) If there's anything you think zidisha can help with, here's a link to post any questions: www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

I hope life is still making you smile.
All the best, Emma from Australia.

Thanks for the communication Diana, & well done for those repayments earlier in the year :-) Am so sorry about the problems you were facing... I hope its nothing too serious...

It might be worth letting the zidisha team know in case they can help by lowering your payments, or adjusting it for when you're ready to make regular payments again. www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

Again, thanks for keeping us in the loop, its appreciated :-) I hope life is running a little smoother for you now... All the best, Emma.

Hi Diana says she has invested the money in school and s she is finding difficulty in repaying the loan because schools are on vacation. She can not realise her returns (proceeds from school fees) which will be used to settle her loan. she has agreed to develop a new repayment plan and adjust her repayment amount whiles we wait for schools to reopen in September. Thank you
