About Me

I come from a humble background, based in Limuru. I schooled in Manguo Primary School, before being enrolled into Karura High School. I have been doing quite well in school, and my performance goes above average at all times. In addition, I am talented in playing football as a striker. I've represented both my Primary and High Schools in the National Level. I finished my High School studies in 2014. I am yet to join college due to some money problems. I got some money from my relatives at some time, and decided to purchase some set of clothes which would serve as my initial stock. This business has been fairing well, improving with time. It has been able to sustain me during the one-year period I've not been in school, and providing my family members with basic needs, such as food and shelter. However, I have not been getting reliable cash to develop my business as per my plans. This is because most of the earnings I get usually serve to meet various family needs, and my basic needs.

My Business

I decided to venture into sale of clothes as my source of income for a short-term period, that is, before I joined college. I use my earnings to meet my needs, as well as the family ones. I have a great vision for my business, which is to start selling even designer clothes, and having several businesses doing the same across various parts of this country. This includes even paying for my younger siblings' school fees. I usually play football during some part-time hours of the day. Recently, we had a tournament, where I was among the five who were chosen to be sponsored by Bata Company. They've also agreed to pay for our college fees, while still giving us some $75 per week, provided we are still playing and practicing. However, this will start in September 20, 2015.

Loan Proposal

I'll use 50% of this loan amount to purchase a new football kit set and some shoes. I'll use the rest to develop my clothing sale business, purchasing new and better clothes, at a lower price, and sell them at a higher price. I am certain to get enough money, about $60 per day, to meet my needs, as well as the family needs. Once our contract with Bata Shoe Company, starts, I'll even have more to meet all those needs, develop my business even better, and pay for this loan in time. Thanks in advance.
