I am Faustina Anakwa and a teacher by profession. I am 38 and a Ghanaian by birth. I am happily married with three kids. Growing up as a child ,i met so many girls who were brilliant but became school dropouts due to the fact that their parents were poor or did not have someone to take care of them. This scenario has seen many teenage pregnancies which rather worsens their plight as teenage mothers and if not divine intervention, their kids would suffer same fate and that cycles continues leading to an increase in the levels of poverty especially among women. Out of this, i then conceived the idea to support brilliant but needy girls in school. In my own small way i am currently supporting two brilliant but needy girls in my school and have the dream of reaching out to more girls as my income increases. I also offer counseling to all girls in school on the need to take their studies serious so that the society will benefit from them and the dangers involved if they do otherwise.
In order to do this successfully, one needs to have a multiple source of income, hence my venture into the selling of African beads in varous designs and styles, jewelries and others.
My hobbies are reading, lending helping hand to others, watching movies.
I sell Dressing Accessories mostly african beads which are mostly african Ear-Rings, Neck laces, foreign jewelries andWrist watches.
These items are in demand and useful because,Ghanaians are people of culture and believe that wearing african beads show their identity.
These items also look nice on both local and foreign clothes making women and men feel classy, attractive and Confident.
These items are seen as necessity by both women and men. You cannot do away with these items most often and again there is always a market for these regardless of season.
My montly costs are bsaically $50 for light and water bill, $100 to my shop attendant who takes care of the whilst in school. I make revenue of $600. The net profit for the month is $450.
I will use part of the profit for reinvestment, and to support the brilliant but needy girls at the school.
Loan repayment
The loan will be serviced with part of the profit from business and if the need be my monthly salary.
If the loan is granted i would purchase mostly african beads in various styles and designs and others.

2.Neck Chains =$25
3.Ear Rings =$5.
This is expected to give rise in profits which will be geared towards the support of the brilliant but needy girls in school.
