About Me

Lwalaman is a first born in my family. Childhood years were very challenging since I lost my father who was the sole bread winner at four years old, even before I could start school. With resilience I managed to go through my elementary school through secondary education and managed to train as a preschool teachers. I took this option since it was the only Teaching Course that offered an In-service Training, giving me an opportunity to integrated casual jobs to raise my fee and at the same time train.

With a teaching career at hand I felt like opening a Preschool and be an entrepreneur and teach children within my community. This opportunity has also enable me to employ other two trained teachers withing my community. I have a vision of expanding this school to provide primary education so that the learners (children) get to continue with their learning at the centre without walking long distance to other schools where they can be able to complete their elementary education. The centre will also provide employment to other more trained teachers who are not yet employed by the government since unemployment is an ever increasing case in Kenya today.

My Business

My business is A Preschool where we teach young children from age 3 years to 5 years. From the fee payment of the children already admitted in the centre, we pay the teachers, the necessary statutory charges by the government and save the rest. The business saves very little that construction of more classroom becomes very difficult with external financial assistance.

I choose on this business since it was one of the areas of my training and passion. I also wanted to change the fate of children in my community by offering education with love and affection.

Loan Proposal

This loan will be used to purchase Teachers' Guide Books and Pupils Work Books. The Guide Books will be used by teachers to give instruction and avail adequate illustration for the learning purpose while the Pupils Work Books will be used for learners work and provision of abundant exercises. Once the books are availed then the learning within classroom will be effective and efficient hence become enjoyable to all children.
