About Me

Oppong Yeboah is my name.I am native of sunyani in the brong ahafo region of Ghana.I started my basic school at methodist M/A basic school in sunyani .After my basic school education i went to sunyani Senior High School in sunyani
After secondary school,i did not get support to continue to the tertiary level even though i passed with good grades.Unfortunately for me my parents were financial poor and my siblings are also in school so they advised me to end my education at the senior school so that they support others.
so after completing senior high school l joined afforestation project of planting of teaks for one years and l came out to cultivate my own teak which is about 10 years now l have cultivated my own teak plantation,,,,now as l speak l have four(4)Hecttares of Teak Plantationat sunyani

My Business

After completing the senior high school l brought my education to an end because my parent were very didnt have money to continue my education to the tertiary level so l joined afforestation project here in sunyani .in this afforestation farming we learn how to cultivate teak tress , now l am a farmer and l have cultivate teak in sunyani Municipality in Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I have been able to cultivate about four (4) Hectares of Teak Plantation at sunyani. The teak stands are about about ten(10) years old, and it’s ready for thinning. Now the demand for teak is high for export. The price of teak per cubic metre is also high and now it has become a lucrative business. As we all known teak has got various benefits. These include (1) global warming (2) check erosion (3) Oxygen and carbon dioxide (4) wood by product e.g. furniture, panels, T’n’G, and etc

Loan Proposal

I would be much grateful to my lenders if i am granted this loan of $ 100 to invest into my teak plantation.Upon getting this loan i will use this loan to hire laborers to weed my teak plantation and buy additional teak seedlings for the farm. thanks for reading through and your contribution is welcome
