About Me

My name is Alfred Cherotwo Murunga. I am Kenyan citizen born on 4/5/1969 in Kitalale village within Trans-nzoia county.
I am the first born in a family of six. I went to school in 1977 to 1985 for primary level and 1986 to 1989 fro secondary school then 1998 -2003 fro college level. I am married to one wife and we are blessed with six children . Three being boys and three being girls.

My Business

I am now a church pastor since the yer 1997 up to date. I also practice farming on a 5 acre peace of land dealing family with maize production and beans. The average returns from my maize farming is Ksh 100,000 which is approximately 1000 us dollars.
I chose this kind of business because it also guarantees food for my family and it has a readily available market within.
I use my profits to reinvest in subsequent farming as well as selling and taking care of my family.

Loan Proposal

I am about to begin harvesting my french beans. It requires me to have a tent to shelter my beans during harvesting so that they are not exposed to harsh sunlight.
The tent costs Ksh 3000 which is approximately 30 US dollars. i will to-pup with sales of my maize to acquire the new tent.
The tent will benefit me a lot because my beans will be protected from the sun and there fore be delivered to consumers in good condition thus ensuring loses are eliminated.
This will boost my business by 5% increase because the losses incurred due to sun scorching will be curbed.
