My names are Mary Wambui Mwangi, a resident in Kiptangwanyi shopping center. I was born in Nakuru town and have been in the area since then. Kiptangwanyi shopping center is in Gilgil District and the large of Nakuru county. I have attended primary school as well as secondary school in this area. We relocated to Kiptangwanyi with my family in the year 2000 and we have been living here since then. I am a married woman and blessed with two children and living with them in my plot number 426 at the shopping center. My business that I operate in the area is that of a retail shop.
I have been in this business of a shop for quite some time. The reason that made me to start this business was a result of of lack of formal employment that is difficult to get here in Kenya. I had to provide for the family and thus with the high cost of living and demand of the family, I opted to start this business. Though with the problem of capital, I managed to open up this business and God has been great that it is now stable. I have regular customers and they have been keeping this my business going on well up to this date.
Thank you all for approving my loan application in Zidisha micro-finance. I would like to use this loan that I will be granted by the organization to; Firstly, I would like to purchase a refrigerator. This will enable me to preserve some commodities that go bad easily. Secondly, I would like to add the stock of my shop as well as expanding the variety of the goods that I sell in my shop.
