I am married with two children, one is schooling. I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping centre which is about 42 km from Nakuru town which is our major town. I live in my own plot which is plot number 52. I run a business of computer services. This is where I earn my basic needs and that of the family. The business entails photocopying, typesetting, printing, lamination, scanning documents and other computer services.
My business entails computer services that I offer to dwellers within the shopping centre. I started this business in 2007 when electricity reached this place. Many of us used to go to Nakuru town for these services. This is when I realized that there is a high opportunity that I could tap. The business has a high demand because these services are needed daily and it is expensive to travel to Nakuru to get these services. The main challenges that the business face are high electricity costs, power rationing.
Thank you all lenders for offering me this opportunity to post another loan. The loans I have taken from Zidisha have been of great help and I am in a position to say that my business has tremendously improved. I was able to start a cereals with the second loan and which picked on well. I wish to use this loan that I will get from Zidisha microfinance to construct a larger store for grains that can hold upto 200bags. Storage is very important to this business and it is therefore my wish to have this facility in my business.
