About Me

My names are Mercy Wangui Kariuki.I live at Bahati Shopping Centre,about 10 killometres from Nakuru Town Headquarters.I am a Christian in Religon.I come from a humble Christian family background.I am the second born in our family of seven children.
I am married to Mr.Stephen Mwaniki and blessed with two Kids being ten years (boy)and six years (girl)respectively.They both attend school in the neighbouring Village called Maili ten Academy.I am proud to be a mother because i am able to cater for my family and to my husband too.

My Business

Clothes business is so viable as the business is so good. The business is located at Town Centre,along Pandit Nehru Road.It is also registered by the Nakuru Municipal Council by laws and regulations.This encourages me so much because the new clothes moves fast.Due to the high number of people visiting the town and the growing population in Nakuru Town at large.That's why people have to dress and that is why the business is so good to be more profitable.I have been able to sustain my family and so far with the profit i get from the total sales.Compared to the month of December the sales were as follows:

Sales of the month of December=108,950

Total goods bought for that Month=61,800

license fee =2,100

Business rent=6,000

Electricity & water =2,600

Watchman salary=7,500

Home Expenses +rent =12,000

Toal Net Profit for December=16,950.

To get my business moving,i usually i stock it after every 4 weeks and i usually buy the new clothes from Nairobi and local wholesalers.If advanced with the Zidisha loan,i will be able to add more stock in terms of new and latest fashions in the current market and i will increase the sales and profit too.Thank you in advance.
