my name is Jenifer salama muye am a lady and a widow of three daughters whom two of them are in secondary school.and one she finished school at the year 2009 and now she do her own job. the first born is called Lena muye and the second she is called Tina muye and the third she called Cheryl.the first born she is aged 23 years old and the second one she is aged 16 years old. the third one she is thirteen years old.i live in mtwapa in mikanjuni village near the Golden key school and just opposite the former the port cafe.currently am not employed and i have no any occupation which am doing but i make business.my education background is form two i could not proceed on with my studies due to the financial status in my family and i had to drop out from there.and after doping out from school three years later i went to a collage of dressmaking where i got my certificate of tailoring there.i started this business in order to earn my earnings or living for me and for my family. as i was a window then the best way for me was to put or participate myself in the business so that ii can pay school fees for my children, clothing them and feeding them and as well giving them the best education through the earnings from my business.from what i purchase from my earnings from this business i do buy things for my family home use. and set aside a little for future emergency. and by increasing my stock into my business
my business is of selling of charcoal and fried potatoes.this is by buying the sacks of charcoal into the forest or from the manufactures transport them with a lorry and bring them into my charcoal vendor ready for arrangement and for sale.and i also i have the second business of which i sell this potatoes at my home compound to the children around the nearby school which Golden key school.the demand for this charcoal business is of very high here because most of the people within and around this village prefer using charcoal for their domestic use for cooking their foods and for making babaq in their homes. second most of the people prefer using charcoal so as to avoid the high cost rate of the paraffin and because majority of the people around they are just common people whom they live with less than five dollars they don't go for paraffin or kerosene they just use charcoal at large because charcoals are cheap and affordable to them or for all.and this is what makes the demand to be of very high.my customers prefer my business because first i value my clients second i gave them reasonable prices for them and i dont underate them my price is all fair for all.the risks of this buusiness on during the raining season during this time then its become very difficult time to get these products and expecial to the forest. and due of this the prices rises and make client to reduce using the charcoals.my typical monthly cost is ksh 25.000 and my monthly sales revenues is ksh 50,000. this is giving my monthly profit to be ksh 25.000 per monthly.
thank you for making this come true. and i appriciate all the effort that was made by all o the zidisha members for approving my loan i will use this loan by adding more stock of good at my charcoal vendor shop this is by buying more bunch of charcoals which will increase my daily income to my business and by this it will help me change my daily living standard
