About Me

I am Peter Wangombe Muhoro. I was born in Nakuru district. I attended a local primary school in Nakuru where I later joined another public secondary school. I am married and living with my two children at the shopping center. I live in plot number 114. We later relocated to kiptangwanyi. After school I engaged myself in casual labor in Nakuru for about four years. My family could not be able to take me to college. This was the reason which me to engage in this way of earning a living. Later I trained myself how to build using stones and construct and an idea to sell building and construction materials struck me and immediately I rented a place where these materials are brought and later customers collect these materials at any given time which is convenient to them. This business has good profit and I know that I will be able to improve it in the coming days.

My Business

My business entails selling of building and construction materials such as sand, ballast and stones. This is a business that I started in the year 2004. This means that I have been operating in this business for eight years now and thus am well conversant with this business. This is a good business in this area especially nowadays that people in this area are now building and constructing using these materials. The shopping center of kiptangwanyi has been growing at a fast rate and investors are now opting to construct using stones. which are durable and the cost is not that high. Also, timber in this area have become very expensive and therefore people have started to embrace building using these materials. I have rent a small piece of land at the shopping center where these materials are dropped and then customers collect them at any given time. I have many orders and this has made my business.

Loan Proposal

Thank you for such another great opportunity.
I wish to use this loan to buy some instruments that are very necessary in my work that I do of building and construction. One of the main item i want to purchase is a mixer. This will be used to mix sand, cement, and ballast. This produces a very good mortar of high quality. This will improve the services that I offer. I also wish to buy a tile cutter that is used in cutting tiles for flooring.
