I was born in 1982 in Narok county where my parents were living. I was sixth in a family of 8 children four girls and four boys. I attended the school the same area from standard one to standard eight. Because of lack of money for my parents were casuals I didnt continue with my secondary school and I was forced to stay at home helping my parents with shamba work until my parents got money to support me at least get a course that will help me in my future. I was trained as a masonry where I learned how to build houses. I am married with three children a boy and two girls. Because of the post election violence of 2007, we were affected and we shifted to Nakuru County where we are now struggling wit life.
After shifting from Narok to Nakuru, I was affected and I was forced to start living from zero. I was having nothing so I was forced to start involving myself with casual work no where I could get building work. Finally i started involving myself with horticulture farming where I have one acre with 3 dams which supply the water during the dry season. I love this work because it pays and my children are at school and we are happy with life and we don't remember the past now because our God is blessing the work of our hands.I do sell my products locally for those who come for it in the shamba and I do also take to Nakuru market.
Thank you for the first loan as it has impro
ved my business so much.i will now use yhe second loan to upgrade my farming and also improve the chiickens which i have been also keeping.
The eggs have been collecting have been also enabling me to prosper as so many retail shops came directly to my home to purchase at a lower price to enable them also sell at a profit.
