Beatrice Wanjiru Kimani is my name. Embakasi area in Nairobi is my region of residence. It is approximately 20 KM from the Kenya’s capital city. I am a business woman in the vicinity. So much land had been laying idle but from recent past, construction has been taking place, of rental houses and residential homesteads. The idea of starting a fitting business for the same, that would go concurrent with the prevailing activities just came up. Hardware sounded and seemed the most appropriate. I now supply all types of tools of trade to both masons and carpenters.
The rate of my sourcing out is so small compared to the calls for materials to the aforementioned clientele. The demand for the same is high, but my stock is not as sufficing as it is supposed to be. Unfortunately, capital is not available to widen my stock. With much cash in hand, I can be sure that I can satisfy my clients, not to mention opening other branches to reach or near the dispersed sites of builders. With a means of transport, I can reduce the cost of my expenses hence increasing my profit. Also, it can be a bait to attract more and more customers to my business if I would offer transport to minor products as an after sales service to curb competition. For this, I table my plea to Zidisha Organisation.
Thank you lenders for such an honorable opportunity. I will use the loan well to improve the status of my business. With this loan I am going to purchase more goods for my business such as cement, iron sheets, barbed wires. I would like to also introduce more products that I didnt sell in my hardware shop such as wheelbarrows and steel metals.
