About Me

Am patrick Muteti Kilundo, a resident of mtwapa. am a businessman in mtwapa area. Am 31 years old married to my lovely wife Mary muteti. I went to ngomano primary school in makueni district in Kenya. that was in 1987 up to 1996 after completing my class eight level. After that i went to Kiangini secondary school. I finished my secondary school in 2000.After that i went to Mombssa and stated the search for a job. While in Mombasa life was not easy i went through tough and rough life, in could sometime sleep outside, i never had any relative there! I one day came across a building site i went and asked for a job .i was employed as a helper in that building site i did that work for sometime. I really thanked God for one reason,i had got a sleeping place. After two yearsc i then another job at a local restaurant. i did that job and tried to save as much as i could. After three years of savings i had ksh 15,000.And that's when i decided to start my own business and be my own boss. i really was tired of being harassed by my previous employer. i started a shop. A retail shop where i sold all food stuffs.

My Business

I have a retail shop here in mikanjuni, mtwapa. i really like my business. In my shop i sell human food like maize flour, wheat flour, cooking oil, etc. i also sell refreshments like sodas and juices.I also sell beauty products like beauty soaps, washing soaps, beauty creams, lotions,so many things. I get my products form wholesalers here in mtwapa and sometimes i follow them to Mombasa, where we have all the biggest wholesalers. But some products are directly form the manufactures, the factories, these are like cooking oil, and this because we have the factories here at the coast. This is a good business, in a good month i get a montly income in ksh 30,000 per month. with this money i use ksh 4,000 to pay rent for my house and also the shop, ksh 15,000 is used to add sock to my shop, i save ksh 11,000 per month.I face risks like, fluctuation in prices and sometimes bus fair, sometimes i loos a lot of money hence the profit reduces. My vision in life is to independent and also reduce poverty which is like a disease in my family

Loan Proposal

thank you so much for accepting my loan application. my sincere appreciation to the entire zidisha team for your efforts helping us. With this loan i will add stock to my business so with this money i buy goods of worth ksh 30,000 of various types so that my customers will have all that they need. so when my stock is full i will be standing a good chane to do more business hense get more revenues
