About Me

Am a family man of two children both my children are in high school My education background is a secondary school lever having completed my secondary school education in 2005. I did well in my final examination but due to lack of funds i never had the opportunity to join any collage so i had to start the rush for looking for a job.In Kenya getting a reasonable job is a problem you need to know someone so that he can arrange for a job for you. I was unfortunate as i had no one to support me in finding a better job regardless of my good academic performance. I had to go for the small jobs found in the street. With these small jobs i got small wages that could not support me. At that time i decided to start a small business that generate income that would add to my daily wages. I was selling charcoal at my place of resident. This added a good value to my daily wages. I did this kind of business for two years. at that time i was still a bachelor and i tried as hard as i could to save more. With my savings i managed to go to a driving course at a nearby driving school.I did this while i was doing my business.I did this course for three months and after that i started to search for a job as a driver. I finally got a job as a conductor in a matatu. I then left the conductor job and started a bodaboda business as i wanted to be self employed. This bodaboda business aws the best alternative as i did it with courage and i was getting enough to meet my needs. I have been doing this business for over years now and its been a paying business. With this business i get an income of ksh 30,000 per month. with my income i buy food for my family, pay rent and also pay school fees.

My Business

My business is a bodaboda business having been doing this business for over twelve years now and am confident that its a good business.Am doing this business 9n mtwapa area and its neighborhood. As we all know that mtwapa is a fast growing town in the coastal region of Kenya this place is always a busy town as the flow of people keep on coming and going. With its high population the demand of thus business is very high. This is good news for people with businesses like mine, as this makes us to earn more profit and keeps the business expand.Risks in this business are like rainfall, when it rains the roads become flooded and motorcycles breakdown often raising the repair costs. And this makes the profit to go down as well.In a month i get a minimum of ksh 30,000. With this amount i use ksh 2,000 paying rent, ksh 6,000 paying school fees, ksh 5,000 i use to buy food.and ksh 5,000 for my family expenses. and emergencies. so i save ksh 12,000 every month. With this amount i can repay my zidisha loan without any difficulties.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for approving my loan application. With this loan i want to improve my business by adding a second hand motorcycle which i will re service and then use for bodaboda. This will add value to the business by adding more income that will mean more savings which will make it easier for me to repay my loan.
