About Me

My names are Jane A.Ochieng. I come from siaya county. In Kilifi I live in kasarani near Zafanana centre the nearest shopping center is kwa charo wa mae a long Mombasa malindi road. I am a Christian by faith and do so to m y family. I went to school upto form four and attended nursing school at Kenya medical Training college Nairobi. I am widowed with four children who have completed form four but they have not secured a permanent jobs. In the year two thousand and seven I lost my job due to low occupancy.I stayed jobless for over a half a year. In the year twenty ten march I secured a jobwith Pwani university where I am currently serving.

My Business

I have in a few month started rearing rabbits. Once a friend gave me a rabbit as a gift and this gave the interest to rear rabbits. I do keep different type of rabbits as there is carlifonian white ,chinchilla and newzealand white. This type of rabbits do well and mature so fast. The business is doing well as it has been proving me with the basic needs I have been in need with. The competition is down as no one else in the area keeps rabbits except me. I have been selling this rabbits in the tourists hotels and the profits is amazing. Given this loan I will be in a position of buying more rabbits from another places and sell them to other people and make profit. I am intending to expand the hutch and so that I can accommodate more rabbits in the future.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for considering me in application of zidisha loan. I will use this loan to add stock in my rabbits business. I had wished to buy another species of rabbits that do well in my community but I did not have any cash to go for it. With this Christmas holiday am fully prepared to make more sells and hopping that I will make a, lot in this Christmas season. I will use the money or loan for marketing and advertising my business in the local tourist’s hotels and supermarkets.
