About Me

My name is Albert Nambafu Wanyonyi. I was born in 1982 in Bungoma County in western Kenya. I have a wife and two children (Emmanuel and Grace).Iam a pool attendant by profession. I hold a certificate in pool attendance. Iam a born again Christian. My current Hall of residence is Shanzu, Keroport in Mombasa County. I am self employed. I started this business because I felt the urge of employing myself and was tired of being employed by firms/companies. The earnings I get on my business some are used for repairing my motorbike and the other amount goes straight to my savings as I am planning to purchase a TUK TUK.

My Business

I own a motorbike and I use it to ferry clients around Shanzu and Mtwapa. I like my boda boda business because I have no deadlines and and supervision. Can do my job without any pressure. I am normally located at Shanzu stage at Shanzu teachers training college that’s my central point for picking clients. Challenges may be punctures and bad weather but they don’t occur daily based on the fact that the motorbike is mine I am a boss of my own. I have contact client who request me if they need to be ferried to their respective destinations.
I make around 1500/= shillings per day and on a slow day I might make 1200/=.my expenditure on food, rent, power and repair adds up to 10,000/= my profit ranges from 8,000-10,000. My daily sales are saved because I want to acquire a tuk tuk and with zidisha I know I will make it.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much Zidisha Team for my loan approval. Once I get my first loan I will be working getting spare parts for my motorcycle so as to enable smooth operation of my business. As a member of Zidisha I will be working on repaying this first loan very fast so that I acquire a second loan. I will make sure I work hard while repaying the first loan so that I don’t become a disappointment to the whole Zidisha fraternity. After I complete repaying my first loan I will apply for a second loan which I will use to purchase a refurbished motor bike so as to widen my business and with the hope I have in Zidisha I Know I will make it to my goals.
