My name is Evans Timboyi, was born in 1970 in Shinyalu Kakamega. I am a father of six. The first born is married while the second born a boy who is university pursuing a degree in journalism and the other four still in school. I stay is Shanzu Mombasa at the coastal region of Kenya. I am not that learned just schooled up to secondary education. I started this business due to the scarcity of it at the village I stay in people had to seek for these services at far places and that’s why I took that initiative. The earnings I get on the business are specifically used for acquiring of new equipments and stock. I will really appreciate your assistance.
My business is called Shanzu Computers. It’s a bureau and the services offered here are typesetting, photocopying, printing, digital editing, skyping, internet.
There is higher demand of these services in Shanzu based on the fact that the competition is not high I stand a better position. I have all the licenses to run my business so am at peace with the authorities.
Operating a computer business is very much profitable based on that fact that it must give you a profit. No challenges as long as I am operating within the requirements of the law and code of ethics of the country no problem.
My net sale normally ranges from 24,000 to 27,000 depending on power outages.
I pay
5,000/= for rent, 3,000/= for power, 5,000/= for internet, repairs 5,000/=.
So profit may be 6,000/= to 8,000/=
Thank you so much Zidisha team for your approval on my loan application. I had been praying to get support for funding my business and here i am glad for your approval. The first loan will be be used in the acquisition of a new CPU in my computer centre. And as time goes by as i continue being a member of Zidisha i will be working on widening my business and even thinking of opening a sub branch. Thanks for your consideration
