About Me

Am a Kenyan aged 44 years , educated up to Form Four (0 level), trained as an auto electrician and in Information Technology (IT) and HAVE vast knowledge in agriculture. I was once in an employment but was laid off after the business went down with the employer. I opted for agricultural business whereby am rearing and selling chicken and a little bit of horticultural. I have a broken marriage and am raising my three kids single handedly. The eldest of the three is in class eight seating for his examinations this year while the other two are in classes six and four respectively. My dad died the year 1999 and my mother is sickly always on and off hospital beds. Am the third of the five in my family.

My Business

I have been in the business for the last two and half years. I started with the buying selling of charcoal and later on went for poultry. I deal with the local breeds and have now my dreams come true in you to upgrade for the exotic after am financed with a boost. I intent to rear both broilers and layers for the market is open and always with minimal competition. With much passion in the dog world, I had the mind of doing dog breeding and with my business at its peak, I hope to see one day myself in this business. Biogas is what I think of as a solution to the deforestation in my country and by adding livestock on my farm, I can apply this since I acquired the technology from the institute of Agriculture at the Bukura Institute. I hope and believe my business will excel by finding you.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much Zidisha team. I will use this loan to multiply my stock in my poultry farm. There is a breed that I had wanted to introduce that as ideal with local ones, the cocks that can can make the size of the hens to look bigger. It is like upgrading to higher level which exactly is what I wanted this loan to boost me for..
Thank you so much in advance and God be with you.

Hi lenders l have decided to reschedule my loan due to the difficulties am facing at the moment. My mother was addimitted in the hospital and l had to take care of her thus my business is under tha virtue of collabsing. This has made it hard for me to repay the loan at the right time since am the one who is paying the hospital bills. lm hoping that she will soon get into her feet and this will go back to normal thank you for your patients.

I talked to Evan and he said the reason he is not able to make the payment is due to the hospital bills he is taking care of since her mother was hospitalised. He said he would try his best to make the payment.

Due to a circumstance beyond my or any other human being control, am forced to escape this month's payments as I was hospitalized and could not manage reach any cyber or access to any M-Pesa agent who could have done the transactions. Am somehow fit now but financially down that am not able to settle this month's money. Please bear with me as I promise as I had promised earlier that the loan will be serviced fully. Thanks in advance

I thought that I would manage get the money to settle the loan in time but have been caught unawares following the delay in the payments of the sales I made. Contrary to the customers that i initially had, the latest who took my products decided to pay me by a crossed chaque which I received today and has three working days to be ready to cashed.
My aim is to pay in five day's time but the reschedule allows for a full month of delay, can I continue and pay after I have cashed the cheque or would I be violating the rules and regulations governing the organization? If it is ok, let me be informed as I think and believe that I may be comfortable. Let me be advised so that I operate within the rules and regulations of the organization.
I apologize for the inconveniences caused and promise never to repeat the same hence making my history not good enough to earn me reputation worth qualifying for the next loan.
Thanking you in advance, I hope and believe that I'll be advised accordingly.
Regards to the entire Zidisha crew, Borrowers and our charitable and philanthropic lenders.
Keep me posted for my own good.
    Yours faithfully
    Evans Otiende.

I needed to delay the payments to 15th September because my payments were made on a crossed chaque that I have received on the deadline date and has to take at least four days before it has to be cashed. I can see that there is no option of extension of at least five days. Can I go on to submit my payment even if I choose to take a full month ahead?
If its ok, may I be informed so that by 15th I submit my payments.
    Thank you in advance
