    Dear lenders,

I'm Analin Saturria McGregor and I'm Zidisha's Country Liaison Manager.
Mr. Muyesi has been struggling financially for many months now, as putting his five children through school is becoming increasingly expensive for him. Mr. Muyesi's own limited education make his children's education an even bigger priority for him, as he wants to provide for his children an opportunity his own parents were unable to provide him due to their extreme poverty.
Even in these times, when education is universally considered a human right, developing countries like Kenya suffer from serious deficiencies on their education system. Very often, demand surpasses supply greatly, and so parents are forced to send their children to expensive private schools that may offer subpar education even when charging exorbitant fees. Mr. Muyesi has communicated to us how he plans to resume his payments in the near future, and we've connected him with his Volunteer Mentor so he may help him propose a new repayment schedule.
We will keep you informed as we know more. We wish you and your children the very best, Mr. Muyesi!
