About Me

my name is waithaka karanja but many people in this town know me as [kadahal]this is my nickname in kiptagwanyi which everybody know me.i am from kiptagwanyi boombo village but i do business in kiptagwanyi center where i sell secondhand shoes in my shop. i am married to a one wife and i have 5 children who are all schooling in a nearby school.my parent is a live thank to god for that. about my education i didn't go to secondary because of the poverty which was surrounding my family of 10 children and i was the old one in the family so my parent was hoping that i can leave school and being employed to help them with the care of the young one, so sometime even thy don't pay my school fees that made teacher to send me home regularly .but i completed my primary school with that problem.when i completed my primary education i was employed by one rich family in town to sell the shoe which were transported from Uganda and thy were having many shop in this country.i done that job for about 3 year but because that family mistreat me very bad because of knowing my background i leave there and i return home with the money i have collected from that employ, and start this business as i have learn the profit in that business.

My Business

my business entail in secondhand shoes in this town, the business is profitable as many people cant afford to buy new shoes because it is very costly and many people here depend in farming to get money and able to buy if it is shoe or cloth .many people prefer to buy in my business cos thy say i sell cheaper than other business people who do same business and in this way i get many customer who buy my product.also because i am used in this business before, i knew where to get best quality in a low price like in nairobi gikomba market so that if sell to my customer who buy from me in a wholesale price for them to be able to sell also in low price and get profit.the business is profitable and the demand of my good is high in this area.the main challenge is poor road in the area, high price of commodity which is accelerated by drought in this area where people depend in the farming business to get money and also food.high cost of living because of every thing like fuel and kerosine which is the need to everybody rich and poor in this country,

Loan Proposal

thank you zidisha for accepting me in this organization.dear lenders in this my first loan , i want to introduce new shoes in my business because i have discovered that i can made profit because there is some of my customers who need this new shoes. also i will add school shoes which is in demand at this time and i know because of good relationship with my customers i will get profit with this new shoes.thanks
