My name is Maina Gichia I was born in 1950 in Nyandarua at a place called Njabi-ini. I went to Munyaka Primary School then Uasinigish Secondary School then I was employed as a road foreman I worked for sometimes where I left and I went to a Bible School I became a Pastor . I am a family man with six children.
I come from Bahati at a place called Wanyororo ,as you come from Nakuru along Nakuru/Nyahururu road you reach a centre called Maili Kumi centre then you go straight to the to a school called Muthati Secondary School you go past that school, after the tarmac road you reach a place where there is a junction one road leads to Solai and the other to Wanyororo Centre . You branch to Wanyororo after you reach the centre you walk for 300 meters to my home near AIC church ask for Gichia’s home plot no. 920.
I do the business of farming I grow crops for sale and some for our home. I also keep dairy cows in my farm and they produce milk for sale and some I use in our home. From the income of crop growing I get about 500000 per year and from the produce of cows I get about 200000 per year. I also keep chicken which lay eggs. The total annual income is about 700000. I use the amount to pay school for my children.i also help the extended family with my income who are in need and also people who are may be in need in our area.
