my names are jane wanjiku ngunjiri. i live in mtwapa Mombasa Kenya. am a mother of one child boy. his name is called Felix and he is nine years of age.he is in school in class four at st Mathews junior school. am not married and i live with my son am the one looking after my boy in schooling and in daily surplus.my education background is form four of Kenya secondary level. i started this business because i wanted to earn some money so that i can sustain my living and for my son being as well getting him to school. with my earnings from my business i do use some of the income on paying school fees fro my boy, and use some amount on paying house rent as i live in renting house in mtwapa.
my business is of cocking and selling of chips and mineral water here in mtwapa. i have my own vendor of where am cocking and sell these goods and water product to my clients.the demand of this products is very good and high because chips are food that is easy to carry and cheap and because mtwapa has been the growing or developing town with different types of people living here and most of the people does not prefer cocking foods at their homes so they just buy these ready made foods like chips from me and take to their home for use.the customers prefer buying from me because my place of cocking my food stuff is clean and my prices are very reasonable and this is what makes my clients to keep on coming to buy from me. this business is profitable because after selling i get more income than the buying price so its profitable.my monthly running cost is Kenya shillings 25,000. and my monthly sales collection is Kenya shillings 55,000. this is now leaving me with a profit of Kenya shillings 30,000, monthly.
thank you zidisha members for approving my loan. with this being my first loan i will use it wisely to buy more water products that i will be selling them in my shop. and this it will add more value to my business because i will sell more and increase my daily income and interest. of which it will improve my living standard.
