Am an elderly and committed woman living in mtwapa Am a business woman in mtwapa too. Am a mother of seven children ling with my whole family here in mtwapa. Am a widow and have the responsibility of my family upkeep My education level is only primary level. I never had the opportunity to join a secondary school due to my family's poverty situation. With this low education back ground i never got a decent job to help in my family needs, all jobs i did were underpaying, so i had to turn to business. I started fish business, in this business i buy fresh fish either at the sea shore from the fishermen or sometimes i buy from the fish shops found here in mtwapa. This business is good and profitable. With the income i get in my business, i buy food for my family, pay school fees, and also invest back to the business
Am a businesswoman in mtwapa. I have been in this business for about five years now. My fish business is profitable and i than God my family's needs are also not a problem to me now. In mtwapa this fish business is doing well because many people like fish as its a ready to eat food.In this business risks include, price fluctuations in the fish, this affects the business as the profit lowers. In a month i get an income of ksh 20,000. With this income i use ksh 2,000 paying rent at my fish selling point, ksh 5,000 paying school fees and ksh 5,000 for my family food. so i save ksh 8,000 per month.
Thank you zidisha team for the effort you've done to make my application a success. With this loan i want to make my business do more better by adding more stock to the business. So with this amount i will buy Dried fish, for ksh 10,000, and also add the quantity of fresh fish. and i also want to extend and also start selling vegetables and fruits.
