About Me

First and foremost I was raised in a very humble background, Kachibora village in Busia, western Kenya. My family is comprised of six children and I am the first born. My parents are poor mere peasant farmers. Since I passed my high school, I was able to join Technical University of Kenya and pursue an Electrical and Electronics Degree course. However, due to my poor background my fees and accommodation has been a problem, getting help from well wishers and bursaries. Therefore, through a relative I was able to start up a Chemist business at least to improve our lifestyle and cater for my fees too.

My Business

In order to cater for my school fees I was helped by a well wisher and a relative to start up a business, a chemist. It is right now helping me to cater for my portion of fees and get others from bursaries. The business is actually good and also help my estate residents with vaccines to calm and medicate themselves. The vaccines available right now are painkillers tablets and common syrup medications. I would really wish to increase the amount of syrups for children and the tablet medications, I am convinced that with the help of the lenders I will be able to increase the benefits from this business and continue with my course. Since there are profits as at now and as months are ongoing I will be able to be paying my monthly payments. Thanks a lot.

Loan Proposal

Given that my chemist is the only one within my neighbourhood, many people rely on it and with that much demand am actually hoping that with the help of this loan I will be able to increase the supply of the medicines. Basically as I consider this to be a business to return benefits for financing my school fees at the other hand I think am really helping my neighbourhood. For my monthly payments, I am currently earning returns and with that I will be able to pay. My community will be really prieveledged if I increase the medicines availability and I will be able to get more benefits and able to pay my school fees. Thanks a lot Lenders and all Zidisha fraternity.

Hi Lenders, over the past four weeks I have not been paying my weekly installments, this is due to a mission I had gone to a neighboring country Somalia. I had gone there for a volunteer mission to help the malnourished citizens. during my stay there our mobile subscriber, Safaricom was not reachable and due to this I was not able to contact my sister who was running the chemist at the at that time. However, Redcross and Unep hare going to pay us imprest for the time we were there and I will use it to repay my loan at a higher weekly installment and also add stock to the chemist. This will take place from mid next month.

    Mr. Kisambo,

How are you and your business doing? How are your studies going?

I see you are a bit behind in your repayments. Could you give us an update on your situation? When do you expect to be able to resume payments?

    Take care,
    Cris
