About Me

I AM JOHN MAINA MWANGI BORN IN KAYOLE ESTATE IN THE YEAR 1989. I HAVE FIVE SIBLINGS: THREE SISTERS AND TWO BROTHERS. I WAS RAISED IN A HUMBLE AND POOR BACKGROUND, AFTER I FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL I WAS ABLE TO JOIN THE UNIVERSITY TO PURSUE AN ENGINEERING COURSE IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS UNDER THE KENYAN JAB PROGRAMME. SINCE MY PARENTS ARE AGING AND DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY MY SCHOOL FEES MY ELDER SISTER STARTED A SHOE SELLING BUSINESS IN MY ESTATE FOR ME. THE PROFITS WOULD LATER BE USED TO PAY PARTLY THE UNIVERSITY FEES, COMMUTATION FEE AND ALSO TO PAY MY RENT AND FOODSTUFFS. HOWEVER THE BUSINESS IS NOT THAT BIG, IT IS REALLY HELPING ME IN MY UNIVERSITY STUDIES.

My Business

THE BUSINESS IS LOCATED IN KAYOLE SHOPPING CENTRE, ON A RENTAL ROOM, I PAY MONTHLY THE RENT OF KSH.1500, AND THE TYPE OF SHOES ARE CALLED "MITUMBA" IN KENYA, WHEREBY I GO TO A MARKET CALLED NGARA, TO PURCHASE DOZENS OF THE SHOES WHICH WILL HAVE BEEN IMPORTED AT A CHEAPER PRICE AND THE LATER TAKE THEM TO ADD A PRICE ON TOP TO GAIN PROFITS , I USUALLY BUY AT EVERY START OF THE MONTH ABOUT 20 SHOES WHICH COSTS ME KSH.10000 AND AFTER PAYING MY RENTAL AND ELECTRICITY BILLS I REMAIN WITH AN AVERAGE OF KSH.20000 PER MONTH. SINCE THE BUSINESS ARE PROVIDING PROFITS AT THE MOMENT, I WILL USE THEM TO REPAY THE LOAN IF ZIDISHA WILL HELP ME THE LOAN.

Loan Proposal

DEAR LENDERS AS YOU HAD READ MY STORY I AM HAVING A BUSINESS OF SELLING SHOES AND I AM PLANNING TO USE THE ABOVE APPLIED LOAN TO PURCHASE STOCK FOR THE STORE. I AM PLANNING TO USE LOAN AMOUNTING TO KSH.3000 TO BUY FIVE MENS OFFICIAL SHOES FROM NGARA MARKET IT WILL COST KSH. 2000 AND THE OTHER PORTION USE IT TO BUY CHILDREN`S SHOE THAT WILL COST KSH.1500.
THE BUSINESS IS RIGHT NOW HAVING MANY CUSTOMERS ON HIGH DEMAND DUE TO REOPENING OF SCHOOLS AND MOST PEOPLE ARE ALSO HAVING BENEFITS FROM COFFEE BONUSES HENCE A LOT OF MONEY.
THANKS ALOT ZIDISHA LENDERS FOR THE HELP.

    Hi John,

Sorry for taking long without answering your question. Apparently we have two linked M-PESA accounts, one which authorizes disbursements, and one which finalizes disbursements. The problem arose with the finalization account. So, earlier last week Zidisha was able to authorize payments, which then expired after 3 days once they were not finalized. This is why you experienced seeing the funds in your accounts, but were unable to access the funds.

Please note that Zidisha is aware you did not receive the funds, and will disburse the funds as soon as possible once the account is accessible.
