About Me

My name is Sara Wanda Ouko. Am a lady living alone. I come from a family of five. Am the last born in my faimily (four boys and one girl) My mum and dad passed away. so i started this business to help me to cater for my family needs. All my elder sisters are married and my brother too. So am the one left with the young ones. I only manage to finish primary education and i couldn't move on with my studies because there was no one to help me (mum and dad died). My sisters and brother also help me with some cash to buy food and clothes. Right now am running my business at the same time am working at a Chinese clothing company. I use the money i get from my business to buy food and also buy stock for my shop and save the rest because am also planning to have my own family and i must have savings not to rely on my husband. I want to provide everything for myself.

My Business

Am a tailor and i also do fashion designs, and also i do sell clothes, materials, baby clothes, bed covers e.t.c. My charges are fair and in the area there are other tailors but they do not sell the goods i sell. so people have to travel up-to Mombasa city to buy clothes and materials am even planning to travel to Taveta where clothing are cheaper, materials, leso, baby clothes bed covers e.t.c. My business gives me a good profit but i want to expend it to other higher level. In a month i make sales of about Ksh 39,000. I pay Ksh 5,000 rent for my business premises, i spend Ksh 15,000 to buy clothes, material e.t.c, i have a sales lady whom i pay her Ksh 5,000. Ksh 14,000 remains as my net profit. but it varies sometimes i get more profi ksh 10,000 is the minimum net profit i do make.

Loan Proposal

Thanks for accepting and activating my application. Am looking forward to get a loan and expand my business. Am planning to go to Tanzania and get new fabric material that are in fashion shoes. Am really thankful and am working hard to be self reliant in my life and i promise to pay back my loan on time. Hoping to get a loan soon.

Good day Sara. It's been another month without hearing from you. Your loan repayment was rescheduled to begin Dec 15, 2013. On Feb 6, you indicated that your first payment would be made at the end of February or the first of March. And there is still no indication of how you are doing or when you will be making your first payment. Please let us know how you are and when you will start repaying. I use the money that you repay to help others in need.

Thanks Zidisha for the loan. it has really help me a lot. Its so sad for me not to meet my monthly loan payments. I know its two months now i have not pay but i promise to pay at the end of this month or the begining of next month. Thanks you so much zidisha for your support. God bless you all.

Thanks for the loan and am very sorry to let you down but not keeping my words. My intention was to pay all my loan installments on time as i had plan but now am going through hard times. My business at the moment is not doing good. When i started the business no one in my area was having such business but now am really facing high competition there are two other business in the area now. But am very sure am going to cope with that and i will pay the loan back.

Thanks so much for your loan. Thank my lenders for your trust in me. I was doing hard time but I thank God am back on my feet and my business too is doing well. Am going to pay all my loan today and am very sure am going to do it today.
