About Me

I am a father of seven children all have completed their education. I live in Kiptangwanyi about 1 kilometers from kiptangwanyi trading center along kiptangwanyi-mbombo road, next to mbombo dam plot number 1147. My occupation is farming (mixed farming) also I am also a member of elementaita S.H.G, I have a general knowledge.
I started a business of farming after having an education day of farming funded by Brookside Company, by the end of the day they promise us to be buying our milk, they also tell us to crossbreed the indigenous cattle by dairy breed which are highly productive in milk, but before I was dealing most with posho milling and tractor for ploughling. I am expecting to purchase more cattle’s and also I will purchase a piece of land to accommodate the feed of animal .

My business is farming
My business includes cattle farming and ploughing during land preparation. They is a lot of demand of the product such as milk, because the milk is taken by the Brookside company dairy, and also so many people here rely on maize flour.
Most of the farmer in kiptangwanyi have not yet crossbreed their cattle thus making me being the most of the few one who will produce much milk also tractor will help for harvesting cattle feed. The business will be profitable because most of the feed a get from my farm. The risk facing the business is poor road during the rainy season which hinders the transportation of the milk and farm products.
My typical monthly cost is khs 100000, sale revenue is around ksh 40000 and profit is above 45000 but I am planning to earning more.

dear my lenders, am so greatful to have this chance to apply for my second loan. the first loan was so fruitful to my dairy business, since i used a halve of the amount to improve the living standard of my two local cows.i bought dairy meals and some other necessary needs for my animals. since then, the animals have been producing alot of milk due to good health. the rest of the amount, i used to repair my farm tractor, which i always use with trailer to transport the feeds to my home for the animals.i hope now to buy a good and productive cow, with this second loan.this will help me in more production of milk.
