About Me

my name is Bellinnah kemunto bere i was born in 1969 at bomorenda in kisii county i attaended ekerubo primary school an later joined nyamasaria secondary school for my o levels. after school i joined nyaore polytechnic for a course in basic agriculture compliting in 1989 from the i engaged in agricultural activities a career i decidedd to keep uptodate i am married and blessed with four children who are all grow ups i seettled in gilgil town to join my husband who has been working in this town. with my little saving , i bought a plot and bult my own house. It is in this plot that i started my chicken realign business. i keep broiler chicken which is always ready for sell in 6 to 7 weeks i always keep 1000 at all times. This has helped me to educate my children and to meet my upkeep. i look froward to perform better with zidisha platform.

My Business

My bisiness is located in my piace of land at ngomongo estate in gilgil town i basically deal with keeping broiler chicken. every time i purchase the chicks it takes two weeks to remove them from the con finer and about 3 to weeks in normal realing area from there they are ready for the market. i usually sell them at farm gate price of ksh 280 per peace. after i deduct the running cost am always left with about ksh 95000 per a good season. my customers who are sellers in nairobi prefer my chicken because thy are cheap and well catered for, than from my competitors the only challenge i face is during cool season were one my loose a considerable amount of birds. so i am complled to spend alot on buying charcoal to them warm but the profit margin is always susutainable. i is to my wish that i will be able to do even better with zidisha platform.

Loan Proposal

Thanks to all my lenders for my first loan. it was quite helpful to my business. i was able to construct more houses for chicken rearing from the profits i was getting. i intend to increase the number of birds that i currently keep for increased profit. this will improve my business for better returns while maintaing a good relationship to you my lenders by promptly paying my loan on time. Thanks

    Dear Lenders,

my name is Roberta Zenere and I am a Kenya Country Liaison Intern at Zidisha. Within this role, I am coordinating the Zidisha's MPESA team, responsible for processing loan repayments and disbursements.

Today, while reviewing our accounts, I noticed that a loan repayment of 806 KES (9.39 USD) sent by Ms Bere on October 14 was not registered in her repayment schedule which has been updated accordingly. This means that Ms Bere has never missed to repay his monthly installments and, as you can see, she is very committed repaying her loan.

Ms Bere, we are sorry for this inconvenience and we wish you all the best with your business!

    Best regards,

    Roberta
    Zidisha Team
