About Me

I come from a poor family of ten children ,six girls and four boys. i was the first born and i was born 1989.i went to school up to primary level and i was unable to go to secondary school education because of the situation in my home.later i drop out of school and after a long struggle i started business of mobile selling of second hand cloth in order to get some money to take care of our famiilly.with God help i increase my bussines and later my father died and i was the breed winner of the family. . with time i expand my business . i started going from one market to another but unfortunately had an accident and i decided to start farming bussines. where i higher shambas and cultivate maize, beens, pototoes and other cereals. later i boought some cows and i engage myself to dairy animals business which am doing up to today. with the profit i get from my business am able to take care of my mother and our children and also my family too.

My Business

the goods i do offer in my bussiness are maize beens ,pototes, meat and milk.both from the shamba and animals . there is alot of demand for these commodities because i do keep them clean ,dry and out of reach of weevils and other insects .during harvesting time i do havest my own maize and buy other from the neighbours which i store some and sell others to wholesalers in order for them to supply to the millers. i do get challenges in these bussines especially if there is little rainfall because the harvest is very low and if there is a lot of rainfall the harvest is high but needs a lot of care because of high moisture. also when the havest is very high there demand is low and thus the price of these goods go down. aislo ido have challenges because i have alittle capital and if lendered these money i can uplift the working capital. and thus do a good job. Also if given these money i can buy good breeds cow which can yield alot of milk and meat and thus make profit,.my anual cost in one acre of land is shs24,000 and my sales is shs46,000thus i do make a profit shs 22,000 that is where you get 20bags of maize selling at shs 2000 so the more you engage more acre the more you get more profit. i do sell milk and am paid monthy and other on dairy basis. ido supply other to a dairy plaint where i do supply eighty liters of milk where i do get a total of shs8000 and after the expenses of dairy meal and salt and other mineral supplement the profit shs4000.if given these money i will higher more acres especially now as we are helding to preoaring the shambas and thus have more acres of shambas and more improved breeds of animals to make more profit of milk.

Loan Proposal

Thankyou zidisha familly for accepting me in your organization surely these is a very good time for me because am very busy preparing my shambas. i will will use my loan to prepare a shambas which i have already rented of two acres. i will high the tractor to cultivate it. then another one to smooth the shamba as the rain are almost falling here in kenya, i will hurry up to prepare it. i will also buy maize seed ,. fertilizer and beens, in order to plant it immediately the rainfall which may be in two weeks time or so. i will also buy wheat seeds to plant to other shambas, i will also buy one good breed of cow in order to be selling milk in dairy basis thus able to pay these money as i wait for beans and maize get ready.

Hello Mr. Kipkoech - Sorry to learn of the loss of your cows. Were you able to save any of them? Of course I am willing to wait for your maize harvest before any further repayments. I hope that the harvest will be especially good for you this year.

Hello again Mr. Kipkoech - I hope everything is fine with you. How is your crop doing? This year in my area we have hardly any tomatoes, since it had been a very cool July. But those who did manage to grow their tomato crops are getting very good prices! I wish the best to you.

Hello Mr. Kipkoech - I hope your plants have been growing well. Here in my province in Canada, a lot of farmers are still seeding their fields. Mostly in my area wheat is grown, but also vegetables for the city - potatoes and tomatoes and so on - a few days ago I saw the first asparagus of the season were available at the stores. I have a rhubarb plant in my back yard that I should harvest soon! Best wishes!

Elias, you made it! I am so happy for you. I could see that you were worried. I did send emails to everyone I know asking them to add to your loan. You should know that when you send comments to lenders, they go to the people who have already added to your loan. You were not ignored. The other lenders didn't know about your pleas. Now, no more worrying about your loan funding, get to work on your shambas and making your payments.
Best wishes for health, business success and prosperity, Ann
