About Me

I grew up as an orphan living with my aunt. Thus,I NEVER went to school because i had no parents to pay school fees.I survived in harsh condition.later i got married and was blessed with 7 children. In 1998 my husband died leaving me a poor widow without knowing where to start and where to end.It was a bitter experience for me again to live lonely as adult orphan or widow. This made me to use money raised during burial ksh14,000 to start a small business of buying and selling second hand clothes in njoro market place up to date.reason was to raise profit in order to bring up and educate my 7 children. It took me a full decade to settle in life. However God is good all the time for I manage to bring up my children to the level of adolescence through the blessed trade.Iam looking for assistance of loan to improve and expand this trade in order offset the prevailing inflation and end ensure the orphans left to me march to adulthood with suitable life styles. Our Njoro place is good for business.i chose to work here.

My Business

my main business that i do is buying second hand clothes from nairobi and nakuru and sells in njoro market place.i borrowed my business loan from njoro ladies self help group in july 2011 of ksh 120,000 and repaid fully in july 2012.I started with ksh 14000,but now i have a stock of 17,000.the stock should have a higher value despite the fact that it is also our source of my family home sustainability.customers like second hand clothes because they are cheap and have unique designs. That is why my business has lasted for about 14 years and we survive on it.monthly sales average to ksh 12,000.profit being ksh 5,000.In Njoro town the population increased since 2008by more than 40% due deployment of employees and displacement of people from rural to the town as a result of political violence. There has also been migration of youth from rural to the urban centresin each of jobs. This fact provides sustainability of my customers.demand for supply is viable.Christmas celebration is impending and therefore i anticipate to make 100% net profit out of the loan if given as a result of heavy sales.By early year 2013 i will be able to start paying the loan if given soon.Current stock is enough for raising home use,but the loan will boost towards improving business income.especially at these time of harvest
.Kindly consider this application.

Loan Proposal

Thankyou zidisha team for accepting my application among so many applications . if given these loan i will boost towards improving my business of second hand cloths which i have been doing for a long time. as i had said in my profile the stock i had for now is able to take care of my children and so if given these loan i will be able to make a lot of profit since i will use the money to buy different type of cloths example women cloths , men trousers and mostly warm cloths since we are heading to rainy season and so people are preparing for warm cloths. thus i will be able to select more variety of cloths wash and iron them in order to make profit.
