We create Digital Villages in resource poor communities. Digital Villages are Village Internet access points. A Digital Village is basically a public place where people can access computers, the internet, and other digital technologies that enable them to gather information, create, learn and communicate with others while they develop essential 21st Century digital skills. Loan Proposal

The amount sourced shall be utilized to create a network of Rural ICT Kiosks (Digital Villages and Franchised Telecenters) in Kenya and beyond starting with a pilot project at Kabras West in Kakamega County. A single Rural ICT Kiosk is an Computer Facility with at least 5 computers, a printer, a scanner, a paper binder, a laminator , a digital camera, stationaries etc. Each computer shall be bought @ $200, a printer @ $500, a photocopier @ $500, a laminator @ $200, a paper binder @ $100, a digital camera $200, a projector @ $500. We need an addition of $800 that shall go towards the purchase of of other computer accessories, stationary, rent and room furnishing.

Rural ICT Kiosks shall adopt digital technology to transform rural and small towns economically by availing readily available online opportunities.

Each Rural ICT Kiosks is expected to generate a profit of about 200$ per month.
