I carry out second hand clothes business in NYAHURURU town,Am an accountant by profession,i started the business in the year 2011 with an aim of generating income for Personal development,i have managed to increase stock of the existing business up to three times the initial stock.Any additional capital will enable me expand my business and offer employment opportunities to others.There is high demand for the products in the area thus expecting positive growth in the business.Am a Kenyan citizen aged 27 years old.If business people were trained on the best ways of doing business and provided with financial incentives,this would enable the community eradicate poverty an d improve their standards of living.

My Business

Source of income to repay the loan:the loan will be paid from proceeds realized from the sale of the second hand clothes.The business mainly deals in selling of heavy jackets,pullovers,sweaters for all ages because Nyahururu region is a rainy and a cold zone.This keeps high demand for the products and as a result high profit.The risk involved is that one cannot be able to prudently plan for the future as a result of fluctuating prices of the products.the monthly costs usually adds up to 5,000 and sales revenue is kshs.50,000 profit realized ranges from 15,000 to 20,000.

Loan Proposal

The loan advanced to me will be used to buy second hand clothes for all sexes i.e men,women and children especially heavy clothes because they are in high demand following the cold weather spell.The sales realized from these products will enable me pay my operating cost,inject more capital in the existing business for expansion.Together with the savings i have so far kept aside,i will be able to buy several bales for these items which usually gives 100% profit if sold without any delay.
