My Name is Lily. Am single and self employed. I work hard to earn a living. As a lady i sets goals that area at high level and try to meet them, if i fall short i know am still within the bar. i came from a christian family. i was first employed and used to life from hand to mouth and could not help my parents. Now with the cleaning work that i do am able to support them with daily needs plus also support my nephew go to school and have an education. i feel that my family is tight in the sense that i can call them my friends.
started a cleaning business because i could not find a Job that could pay for my monthly expense. I borrowed from the women group and bought a wet & dry hoover for 17000/= ($202). i now use it to clean peoples soft set and cars for Ksh.2000/= ($23) per job done i wish to expand my business by buying a bigger hoover and scrubber to approach co-operate companies to work with me. last week i have been doing same marketing and have gotten a contract to clean a factory. i now have a challege of looking for heavy duty machines which i need to hire to do the work. if i had my own equipment my profits would be higher and i would start to compete at co-operate level.
The loan will be use to buy tender forms from co-operative companies e.g. Kenya Ports, Kilifi Hospital.
This enable me to work with them hence will uplift my profile when am quoting for the next job.I will also be able to get referrals. this will expand my business and my cash flow will increase. i will be able to market my service in two different counties.
