My name is Gibson Kai nyamawi living at kilifi mtondia .Am married with four sons .Their names are as follows kilomba Kai myamawi ,Erickson Kai nyamawi, Benson Kai nyamawi and Alfred Kai nyamawi. They are all still at school. The first born is in form three at majaoni secondary school, the second is also in secondary school at bright future at kwa chokwe ,the third has completed his class eight course this year at majaoni primary school and next when god wishes will join form one and the last one is in class seven at majaoni primary school.Am a business man ,that is i own a butchery at mtondia trading center. I joined business with the purpose of getting my daily bread and for earnings. From the earnings i get i use them for the buying of cows from the farmers at about twenty thousands ken ya shillings and sell it at about twenty five thousands ken ya shillings.Academically am a form four leaver of chumani secondary school .
My main business is of a butchery at mtondia trading center whereby am selling meat of different cows that is the grand ones and the local ones. The price of the meat is one hundred and eighty per kilogram.the cows i slaughter i get them from the farmers at Kenya shillings twenty thousands and sell at about twenty five thousands. Most Kenyan people living in kilifi town and those of mtondia area eat meat and therefore the demand which lead me to start this business. The profit of this business is being determined by the bargaining power of the customers.Normally a cow is bought from the farmer wholly without being weighed it them when it reaches at the butchery ,we sell it by weighing it using a scale which help us to make profit. we store the meat in a freezer which uses power. i do make a loss especially during when power goes off for more than six hours because some of my products goes bad .In a week i normally sell to cows of price twenty thousands and sell it at Kenya shillings twenty five thousands making a profit of shillings ten thousands .The month gross profit is about one hundred thousands ,the expenses is around eighty thousands and the net is twenty thousands
The loan will be used for the expansion of my business in other remote towns in Kenya. This being a small a mount,i will use it to purchase a cow.One medium sized cow has a bout one hundred and twenty kilograms. This is about Kenya shillings twenty five thousand shillings only in gross profit.i expect a net of about Kenya shillings eighteen thousand only. This can be used to pay back the zidisha loan to my good lenders. In Kenya meat is a local delicacy that can be bought easily by the people.
