About Me

I am Dennis, third born in a family of five, I live in Nakuru near Racesourse, I do small businesses to sustain myself. I sell ladies clothes and merchandise, i also sell mobile phone appliances, the earnings from my business goes to pay for my rent, meals and also help my other siblings since we are all unemployed.I have a diploma in business management.I started my business because of the high levels of unemployment, it is really hard to get employed and we all depend on our parents which is overburdening on them.

My Business

my business involves buying clothes from the main suppliers and sometimes from the neighboring country Uganda, i come and sell them at a higher price here in Nakuru. there is a high demand for these clothes since there are a lot of young people in this town and they prefer wearing trendy clothes.The business is profitable since the goods are acquired at a cheaper price and sold at more than double the buying cost. people prefer my business since i am updated on the latest fashion designs and I stock them all throughout. my monthly costs include rent ksh5000, electricity ksh400, restocking ksh20000. I normaly get revenues of upto kshs35000. and profits of around ksh5000. I would use the loan to increase my stock and expand my business.

Loan Proposal

the loan will be used to increase my stock of clothes, 4000 will be used to buy women dresses and the remaining3000 will be used to buy women coats. dresses are acquired from ksh200 up to ksh500. coats are bought at ksh400. the ksh4000 can buy at least ten dresses which will fetch an additional ksh300 per dress.
