About Me

Iam aged 50 years and a father of 3 sons. one in the University, 2nd in Secondary School, form 2 and 3rd also in Secondary, Form one. I have been struggling with small businesses including Mpesa. However this one folde up after the City Council demolished the Kiosks where I had rented for the business at Kariokor, Nairobi. The owner of the Mpesa line took it back as it was now not trading. My wife helps out with another small business of Hawking smoked sausages. I was introduced to the business of selling "ECO CHARCOAL" which Iam carrying on todate.

My Business

The eco-charcoal is made from non-organic materials, largest component being soil. It is more durable than ordinary charcoal as it can burn for over 5 hours thereby being very economical with poor people. A bag of this eco charcoal weighing 50 kilograms is sold at shs. 800. I in turn sell the same to my customers at shs 1200 thereby making a profit of shs 200 after deducting transport costs.

The eco charcoal is beneficial economically and also to our environment as it is not made from trees and if most people can turn to it, Kenya will gain good mileage in conserving our environment. If I may be granted this financial credit I will be able to by many bag of eco-charcoal at one go thereby reducing transport charges and increasing the profits.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to increase my stock of manufactured charcoal (eco charcoal) to minimize on transport charges as the place I get them is about 20 Kilometers away, This in turn will enhance my profit margin enabling me to earn a decent living for the family. It will also enable me reduce the sale price to have a competitive edge,

I phoned George Kabuki today 11:30am and reminded him that his loan is in arrears. I asked about his overdue repayments His response, in his own words, "I am in a meeting right now. I'll call you when the meeting is done." Therefore, I will wait for him to talk to me and update me on his loan repayments, hopefully he will call same day today.

        Dear Richard,

Thank you for the comment, Mr. Shehi informed me that you had inquired about this loan. As he is no longer the VM for Mr. Kabuki, I wanted to update you instead. Despite our efforts to contact Mr. Kabuki over the past several months, and Mr. Shehi's efforts to contact him, he has not been in contact with us since Mr. Shehi's last phone call. He had been attempting to reschedule his loan, but I see that he never was able to do so. I apologize that we do not have more information to give you at this time.

        Thank you,
        Bayle, Zidisha Team

I was greatly humbled to receive the loan and I take this opportunity to thank my lenders for their magnanimity. The money has gone towards the purchase of bags of eco-charcoal which Iam now able to buy in bulk thereby saving on transport costs resulting in increment of profit margins.
I undertake to repay the loan as scheduled or even earlier to enable me benefit from more lending.
ZIDISHA is truly a timely God's gift to humanity and keep it up.
I will continue to update you on my progress.

    Regards,

    GEORGE
