I am married with five children 3 girls and two boys all in primary school with the first born being in class eight and the second born in class seven the third born in class four and the fourth is in class three the last born is still breast feading.
I live in Mtomondoni mtwapa in Kilifi County. ama shopkeeper in a retail shop. am a primary school leaver. the main aim of starting this business was to earn a living and reduce poverty in my family. With my earnings i do purchase household items, pay school fees buy fuel, cereals , also buy cosmetics pay for transport etc.I hope to expand my business and even to open another one at another place
My business deals with the sale of goods like parafin, flour, washing soap, school uniforms cosmetics etc. theree is high demand of these goods because people need to eat, wash, travel by using these goods.
Customers prefer my business in that am good at accounting and that am a faithful seller.
It is profitable I buy in large quantity at a fair ptice from a wholesaler and i sale the goods at a fair price to my customers within a short time.
Risks that faces my business are poor roads and price fluctuation in the market.
Typical monthly income Kshs.30,000/= and expenditure is Ksh.20000, hence my profit is Kshs.10000/= of i can completely repay withou any problem.
The loan will be used to increase stock in my shop,items that I will increase are soft drinks,material clothes,detergents and household items.Also will introduce other items which many customers have been traveling in such of them.Those items are like kerosine fuel,cooking oil,exercise books and dried fish.
