My names are Samuel Mangale Kenga. I live in Mtwapa the coastal region of Kenya in Kilifi County. I was born in 1978 in Kilifi County. I am a Christian and currently reside in Mtwapa, Mti – Pesa in Shimo La Tewa Location. I have schooled up to form four that’s the second level of education in Kenya. My occupation is sell of second hand clothes that are directly imported to the country. My profession is tour guiding. I am single, hardworking, competent and honest. The reason why I started this business was to cater for my daily needs like food, transport, rent and other life essential things. The earnings I get from my business are taken back as stock and other basic needs.
I own a clothes shop in Mtwapa and definitely the services offered are sell of clothes. My clients are women and men and mostly the youth. There is demand for these goods because everybody needs an outfit to keep them private and decent.
My customers prefer my business because am always lenient when it comes to pricing. Checking on the economical crisis in Kenya I have to be fair when it comes to pricing.
The business is profitable because it is staged near the market and near the targeted clients.
There are no much risks in my business as I am always updated when it comes to renewing of business permits hence smooth running without commotion of the authorities.
My typical monthly sales is 22000/=
My expenses amount to 15000/= so a profit of 7000/= is what I make monthly.
The loan will be used to purchase some stock for my mitumba business. I will send someone to Tanzania to purchase for me so clothes so as to widen it. 7,000 Will be for the stock and the remaining balance will be used to repair my business station because it's a just a small place and the paint has work out. After getting the loan I will be working hard in ensuring that I repay it as soon as possible using the fastest means so that I get another loan and widen my business more and more. Once again thank you so much Zidisha Team and may God bless you.
