Im Tsofa Mweni Baya and Im married with two children one is aged 4years who is in KG 1 and the other is in baby class.I live Mihingoni in Kaloleni location,Kaloleni Division Kilifi county.My work/business is barber(hair cutting).I'm a class eight leaver,I studied at Chanagande primary and could not go beyond because of money.I started this business basically to earn a living and to improve my life.I purchase the following items with the earnings from my business:combs,blades,oils or ointments,handcatchiefs,jaggs,heaters,haircutting machines, brushes,spirit solution etc Also buy food for my family,clothes,pay for school fees and transport.I hope to expand and oped many barber shops when i'm loaned by Zidisha and be able to get a good profit and help myself and even the less fortunate in my locality.

My Business

I'm a barber I cut people's hairs for commercial purposes.Therefore this business provides the service of cutting peoples hairs by use of special blades and combs.There is high demand of this business because apart from being clean you attain a smart general look.My customers prefer to my business because I'm faster in doing this work and that I'm long experienced with lots of hair styles in my head.The business is profitable because in a day I can do 20heads of which each is ksh:70 and battery charge is ksh:40 for one week.Risks that face my business are lack of water and poor roads.My monthly income is ksh:42000 and my monthly expenditure is ksh:24000/= and my profit is ksh:18000/= of which I can repay Zidisha loan comfortable.

Loan Proposal

The loan will enable me to repair and buy other new hair cutting machines to facilitate the barber business.Secondly the money will help me buy some hair cutting additives like the after cutting smoothening and health hair growth oils and ointments.Lastly it will help me open other barber shop else where to improve my income.
