About Me

I am the firstborn Of 4 siblings. After high school at Ole Tipis In Narok I joined Camara Computers for Schools program based in Bombolulu Mombasa where I trained in Maintenance and networking. After College I taught for a while at Eton Academy the realized the need to start my own college. With savings from my salary I started this college. The greatest challenge has been sitting space and lack of enough stools which I shall solve with a Zidisha loan. During my free time I browse and read e-Books. I also like making online friends.

My Business

In the college I charge a small fee and each learner chips in an affordable amount per a minute. On a good day especially during school bvreaks a take home a bout US$ 10. With this amount I pay electricity bills as well as other overheads. With there being many teachers from neighboring schools seeking computer skills I hope to grow to the point where I shall pay my loans. There is little or no competition and I shall enjoy monopolistic advantages for a while. In a month I spend about US$200 and end up with between US$150 -180 as my profit per a month. This is the money that I save and reinvest into an expansion program.

Loan Proposal

This loan shall purchase a total of Ten new stools costing Us$4 per each. The remaining amount shall assist in other overheads as I expand the business. It is my desire to attract women leaders from community based groups who use my college, not only to upgrade their skills but also to originate documents like, receipt books, invoices and other stationery. They shall be the target clientele.

Though most grateful for I now have enough stools and many students,I am forced to reschedule because of an unwelcome happening. My college has not received enough money to pay for the overheads and repay my Zidisha lenders. There is low payment of fees by my students most of whom are self sponsored. The explanation they give is that there is food shortage due to failed long rains and Maize crop failure. I shall pay from the end of this month. I propose to commence repayments as from 2nd June 2014.
