About Me

I am a Kenya born in the year nineteen eighty one. I am also a born again Christian and I love Jesus Christ as He is my personal savior. I am a single mother as a result of a negligent careless former husband. I went to Gatugi Girls High School in Nyeri and successful completed my secondary education. I attained a mean grade of C plain. My father and mother were poor to take me to a college because my younger brothers and sisters were still in school and were at least to achieve basic education to assist them know what to do. So I had to join the small business industries here in Kilifi county after leaving Njeri where I was born. I am now living in Kilifi town in an estate known as Mtaani. It's like two hundred meters from Kilifi trading center enrout Tuskys Super Market just past the G4S offices at a building with a shop called Babas.

My Business

I have involved myself in charcoal selling business which is very profitable. I do buy the sacks of charcoals in the kilifi county interior places an transport them to town and sell them at a profit. The business is good as it has been catering for my expenses since tie immemorial. I have been managing of getting like more than a thousand a day as gross profit. The competition is down as most of the people buy the product from me. I have a tender of selling these charcoals in one of the tourist hotels in the area and this has given me a good boost in selling of the charcoals. I am the only one in the area selling this type of product hence competition is down.

Loan Proposal

The loan will make me expand my income by buying more charcoal to upgrade to a wholesaler. I appreciate for the good cooperation Zidisha has proved to the borrowers. My son too who is to join class one next year will be able from the loan to get school fees without any problem after my income increases from the income made.
I promise to service my loan without failure so that I upgrade so that in future I can be able to apply for a bigger amount.
When am financially capable, I would like quit charcoal selling to for bigger businesses like agribusiness whereby I will have my own land and exercise green house farming, poultry and dairy farming. I

Will we see a payment soon. It is very important to lenders to see some repayment or they won't help anyone. Please keep us updated.

I hope you and your family are well.

    Happy New Year.

Hello Mrs. Wagaki - Thank-you for correcting the trouble with your repayments, many lenders at Zidisha use repayments to lend again, so each time you make a repayment, you are not only helping yourself, but also helping others in your community access Zidisha loans. I hope that you and your family are well, and that the charcoal business continues well for you.

As a charcoal seller, I ungraded from retail to a wholesaler whereby the challenges I have encountered is the delay in payments contrary to the retail instant payments. I look forward not to found in such like fix as a month from now, I would have adjusted and will pay the rest period of time promptly.
Please allow me another one month to settle down and will adjust to service the loan in less period as had been arranged since payments are bigger than when I sale on retail
