About Me

My name is Milcah Wagura.I am married with three school going children.I am a business lady with no other occupation.I am a diploma holder of front office from a college in nairobi. Before i used to work but later i started a business that did so well that i had to leave my job to concentrate with it.It has been a success so far.I started my business because even when i was employed,it earned me more money than my office work. With the earnings from my business,i pay my childrens school fees, pay bills, and also stock my business with printing materials.

My Business

I started my business three years ago.I do ,printing ,photocopying and typing. There is demand for this services now that the world as gone technology way.My customers prefer my business because my prices are good.My business is very much profitable because it sustains my family and i have been doing it all long without regrets.Well, the risks are not many just that i need to grow my business and that why im requesting for this loan to buy an extra printer because my customers are many and i only have one printer at the moment. My typical monthly costs on rent, electricity.catridge etc is 20,000.My sales is 60,000 So,that leaves my profits at 40,000.

Loan Proposal

The purpose of the loan is business expansion. I need to increase stationery stocks that is reams, printing materials and to purchase a printer that doubles as a scanner, and a lamina-tor. i have been turning away customers in need of lamination services and decided to get one instead of sending them else where. My shop will be a one stop where customers will find most of their needs met, this will increase my sales and therefore high profits and most important to satisfy my customers.

    Ms. Gitonga,

I hope things improve for you quickly. I see you are Kazungu Chandugui's VM. Could you please check up on him? He has not made a single repayment - he's $243 in arrears - nor has he kept in touch with his lenders.

I left him a message on Feb 10th which has gone unanswered.

    Thank you,
    Cris

Hi Milcah: I was so sorry to hear about the problems that you have had with your premises, and I can understand that the sharing arrangement must be very unsatisfactory. However my perception is that you are a very determined and resourceful lady, and I am sure that you will arrive at a solution soon. I'll look forward to hearing good news about that from you.. Best wishes, Hugh

    Hello,
The reason for my request is hat i have been out of business after i fell sick together with my two children, we had dengue fever and ended up spending all my money on treatment in private hospital. i could not go to government hospital due to the pathetic state of services and this fever is no joke its actually life threatening. Am committed to clear the loan and i believe so. Thank you.

Greetings to all Zidisha team and the lenders,
I thank God to be on my feet again after a long sickness of dengue fever, it totally put me down and both my children too. Its taken a whole month for us to go through treatment and recovery period. Its not a nice experience at all. It started like malaria symptoms of weakness in joints, headaches, high fever, vomiting and loss of appetite. Am back to business though i had to close down for the period. I wish request to reschedule for 2months as i recover. Am so grateful for your patience and appreciate you all.
    Regards.
    Milcah.

greetings to all zidisha team and the lenders,
I trust all is well with you. I and my family are well. As for the business things are looking up and business is picking well and this is also in other businesses as well. There is alot of improvement all round and am optimistic and focusing on getting back on my feet and beyond. Schools and colleges are on now and my customers are back and am planing for a marketing and advertising to the same and giving small incentives like if you print materials worth Ksh.1000/= you get a 10% discount and if you buy 2 reams of photocopying papers you get a ruler etc. this will attract new clients and create royalty from the existing customers. All in all thank you for everything.

Hallo zidisha team and all my dear lenders,
I hope this finds you in good health. Am well and business is dragging i guess it could be because of the political stagnancy in our country, financial spending is very low and hurting business generally. All the same our hopes are still high that the issue will be settled once and for all by the Supreme Court, i am personally looking forward to this because we are hanging in the balance and its not nice.We had a nice time with Neil and he explained a lot how Zidisha and lenders work together it was very interesting i wished he could stay longer he just blended in. Once again thank you all, take care and God bless you.

I kindly wish to reschedule my loan payment by grace period due to the low business earnings and also to give time for business recovery now that elections in our country are over we can now peacefully work without tension. Due to the previous elections experiences that we went through many business people were not spending money therefore the low results in business. Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi Milcah: Clearly I can't speak for your other lenders, but that is perfectly OK with me. Any uncertainty, political or otherwise, is always bad for business, so it is not surprising that your customers have been cautious during the election period. Now that is over, let's hope that your business will soon get back up to speed. Good luck, and keep smiling! Hugh

Hello everyone, i trust you are well. Myself and family are well and thank God. Its been a tricky and tight month for business due to elections and i had to close my business earlier for security purposes, but all went well we Kenyans maintained peace as we vowed never to shed blood of our brothers and sisters because of politics. Am looking forward to revamped business as we wait for officiating of our President in a weeks time and fully go back to operations. Looking forward to great success in spite of the hurdles that i choose to use as bridges to the next level. Thank you Zidisha team and all my lenders i wish you well and Gods blessings.
