About Me

My names are LM. I am a female aged fourty three years. I am from Nakuru county. I completed my primary education in the year 1983 and was able to join High School in 1984
After completing my four years of high school l passed well and was able to join college. i did a certificate course and upon completion, I joined the dairy industry where I worked for several years. I quit employment after saving some money to start business and this is what I have been doing to date.

My Business

I am a business woman and have been doing business for the last nineteen years. I started business with some money from my saving during my employment period. I did this business for a period of five years and in the year 1999. Since the business had grown I felt the need to move to an open and better business premise which I did and I went to a bigger room in Koinange Street . It was when I was there that I decided to change my business after assessing what the people in that area needed. I switched to selling shoes and slowly by slowly the business picked up. I sold shoes for a period of four years. I got a better business premise in Naivasha central business area and immediately grabbed the opportunity and after some time due to the demand I mixed with other products like leather, and leather adhesives. The business grew day by day after the addition of the new customer. The business started going down after the sale of second hand shoes increased which were cheaper than the new shoes and hence the customers opted for them. When I was purchasing my products I came across plastic goods and due to the drop in business I decided to change the business which I am doing up to date. The business has picked and has a wider range of products than the other business I have done. Finally am feeling challenged due to this demand because I have never been able to meet it for the last three years I’ve been in this business and that’s why am requesting for financial assistance from your institution. Loan Proposal

There have been more customers lately in my business which involves supplying of packaging materials to the local traders in Naivasha thanks to the loan that i got from zidisha.I would like to apply for another loan to help supply new additional products for my customers which will help me meet the market demand.There are many more new products in the market which i would like to add in my business but due to limitation of funds am unable to purchase them.I will be very greatful if i got more funds from zidisha enable me to purchase them and satisfy my customers demands.
