About Me

My name is simon kariuki,am twenty two years old second born from a family of four boys.Am from Nyeri county but currently i live in Nakuru town at whitehouse estate where i started a food stuff business which my sole activity is to supply fruits and vegetables in offices and at peoples homes.My business name is simfresh supplies that is based at nakuru town. I started this business on March 2013 after i had completed my diploma in purchasing and supplies management at Jomo kenyatta university Nakuru campus and certified public accountant at M.I.S centre nakuru. This business idea came in to be after i identify the need for such service in the market and my earning is basically used for expansion to cater the growing need for my business and also to buy more stocks.

My Business

This business idea is very new in Nakuru and therefore i would like to take this first hand opportunity to exploit this idea to the fullest hence i would like to humbly request for a zidisha loan facility to make this dream a practical reality. This my main source of income though i also do some small scale farming at home county. At my business i deal with both fruits like;oranges, bananas, mangos, pinaples and apples and vegetables like sukumawiki ,cabbages ,onions ,tomatoes, potatoes etc whereby i make them ready to cook or for refrigeration purposes then together with my two employees we supply them to our client in offices and estates. The demand curve for our services have exponentially grown to level where it supersedes supply since the business inception. Due to busy schedule in work places , many people prefer not only ready made food stuff but quality guaranteed and that where we come in and deliver this package. At the moment the only competition we are facing is mama mbogas kioski who dont have any professional touch like we do.It is indeed a profitable venture since our product unlike for our competitors come directly from the farmers and due to our bulk buying which gives as huge economies of scale. The associated with it is only scarcity of product from the source.The cost,sales, expenses i.e wages profits for last month areas follows 25500, 51500,10000,and 16500 respectively. The loan shall be used for this business.
