About Me

My name is Safari Kazungu Kombo, married to one wife with two children who are by now schooling.I live in Kakwakwani village in Chalani sub-location,Kaloleni location in Kaloleni division Kilifi county.I'm a Tuk-tuk driver wit a professional driving license of ten good years.I'm a certificate level in driving.I started this business basically to earn a living and to educate my children.I purchase various items from the earnings of my business such as oil,petrol,tires,rubber-bands,covers,seats,indicators,side-mirrors,head-lights etc. Also buy food, medicine, clothes and pays for school fees for my children.Hope to re-service and re-condition my Tuk-tuk and to buy new over-head covers for higher income.

My Business

My business is TUK-TUK driving,it provides transport services to travelers with their belongings from one point to another by use of a Tuk-tuk.There is demand of this service because in our area are few Matatus which have discovered the reute yet,the matatus which do passby do passby in the morning and in the evening only hence those left in the middle time miss-out vehicles to use.My customers prefer to my business because Im faithful to them such that I can drop some and still return for others without failing them and same applies to their belongings. The business is profitable because the road sed is a marum road and not a tarmack road which wears-out tires very quickly. The 5Liters of petrol worth ksh:600/= gives ksh:3500/= in a day.Risks that face my business are unstable fuel price and security. My typical monthly income is ksh:40000/= and my monthly expenditure is ksh:25000/= my profit is ksh:15000/= of which can repay Zidisha loan comfortably.

Loan Proposal

This loan will be used to buy do some repare of my Tuk-tuk in my business, some of the areas that need to be repared are the passengers seats, side mirriors etc. This repare or minior service will help my Tuk-tuk atleast improve its efficiency and as a result will perform proper and increase the customers and hence the income.Another-thing that will use the money in is buying the petrol so that my Tuk-tuk do not run-dry as I'm doing long distances.
